I bought this one for my bedroom. I chose this one because it included the only games I would like. I didn't want Grand Theft Auto or Assassin's Creed, though Assassin's did seem as interesting game. The Price was terrific when I bought it at $279. Not long after the price went up to $300.It preforms great. It did take a little getting used to the way the disc are inserted (slim model inserted on top with sliding door). I have one in the living room that I bought a few years ago. The new one is 500gb and the old one is a 360. I use both for movies but do not play any games online. Not only can you add movies but you can add pictures and music as well as downloaded games.One thing I really like is the free app you can get at the Playstation Store for Radio. My mom loves listening to the old country stations. That is a great app. There are other apps you can get at the store as well. I have Netflix, Hulu and Vudu. The Vudu is for seeing my movies I obtained through a purchased movie-- (Ultraviolet- digital copy)If you're not ready to get a PS4 than you could get this one. The games are Grand Turismo 5 and Infamous 2

Not all there!!!!! Missing the games that make it a "BUNDLE".....i had to give this a one star because it wouldn't let me give none.

After 7 hours of downloads!,syncing wih my existing account,it crashes!. It's not actually 500 Gigs HDD,it's 415gig,(they use 85 just for the operating system). I download a very small fraction of what I Had on my 160 gig Slim (1/20),& realized I had already used 135 Gigs.I still had 90 left on my old one with 20 times more stuff on it!. I called Sony Play Station Twice ,though they did help(befor the crash!). They wanted to sell me a $59.00 extended warranty.The games are pretty cool!. Also Remember the PS4 will NOT be backwards compatible!,so you will need a machine to play your PS3 games !.

Had been waiting to get a PS3 and this was the one i was waiting for. Thinking that the system was built for the box, i was wrong. Its just a 500gb system that has been opened, had two slim paper cases of the two games that come with and them put in a flashy slightly bigger box than the original. Before a game could be played the system had to update. Before playing the game i had to create a user profile. The finally i play the game. NOPE!!!! Another extended amount of time because GT5 has to download 2gb's on to your system. Thanks god i got the big one. BTW if you download the content for that game at the main screen of the game you have to activate there. Stupid I know, but that's the way they want you to do it.Other than what i said above the system is dead silent. Was really impressed at that and the graphics. But buyer be warned you need to supply your own HDMI cable. Amazon Basics has them cheap i saw but i didn't need one. I'm happy but not.Would get higher stars but frustration of just wanting to play a game out of the box and the fact they tout it as a special bundle is a bit misleading.Hopefully you take what i give as an opinion and think good and hard before making this purchase.

The only reason for 4 stars was the troubleshooting I had to do to stop a temporary black screen during gameplay. What worked for me was sending the video and sound to the tv via hdmi, then sending sound to the receiver via fiber optics. Turning off the tv speaker, turning off the trumotion setting on the tv and turning off an hdmi setting on the ps3 I'm sure solve the problem too.Having 500gb of memories is great. I installed gt5 directly to the hard drive for faster loading times. It's a huge game, but with that many memories, I don't care. I don't know why anyone would by that 12gb system when you can get sooooo much more for not much more money. This being a marketplace item, I timed it right and waited for a vendor to sell it for a down to earth price. Remember the msrp is $299!! Don't let those other vendors get $400-600 for this system!GT5 is one of the most fun racing games I've seen. I love to toss a green shell at the person in front of me as much as the next guy, but this game is weighted more toward realism. That's fine, I still love it, and can make the game silly on my own. 1000 horsepower Red Bull car vs. 20 horsepower Fiat 500? Now that's silly! The game won't let you use that Red Bull car for everything. It forces you to actually learn how to properly race which I like. I haven't got to play Infamous 2 yet since I've only had the system ~1 week.
